Grandma’s Oatmeal Cookies
Grandmas are great for making cookies of all kinds, a common cookie we would find in grandma’s cookie jar was oatmeal cookies, sometimes with a glaze over top. I have spent countless hours trying to perfect the recipe to make my cookies taste just like Grandma’s, but it never seems to work. This recipe comes very close to bringing Grandma’s kitchen into your own.
Ingredients:
Cookies:
3c old-fashioned oats
2c flour
1c packed brown sugar
½ c sugar
1tsp baking soda
1tsp cinnamon
1tsp vanilla extract
1c (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 eggs
